After that, I have the first two books in the Don't Get Mad series GET EVEN (Balzer + Bray, 2014) and GET DIRTY (Balzer + Bray, 2015) which is about a group of dissimilar girls who have banded together to form a revenge society, avenging wrongs perpetrated on their classmates by bullies, mean girls and teachers, which all goes well until one of their targets turns up dead and the secret society is implicated in the murder."

The decision seems obvious to Ash; he must save Natalie. But when Ash learns about The Tenth, a new and deadly concentration camp where the Darklings would be sent, the choice doesn’t seem so simple. Unable to ignore his conscience, Ash votes against Rose’s Law, signing Natalie’s death warrant and putting a troubled nation back into the throes of bloody battle. Release date coming soon!"

Marissa Meyer (CINDER, Feiwel & Friends)

And even farther down the line . . . Fall 2014 will see the release of my YA debut, WINTERSPELL, a re-telling of the Nutcracker ballet in which 17-year-old Clara Stole must journey from corrupt 1899 New York City to the wintry kingdom of Cane to save her father from a mad faery queen. Her only companion is the cursed prince Nicholas, bent on reclaiming his throne -- and using Clara to get it."

Robin Mellom (DITCHED: A LOVE STORY, Disney-Hyperion)
What's next? My middle grade series, THE CLASSROOM: The Epic Documentary of a Not-Yet-Epic-Kid, released in June of 2012 and the sequel to that book will come out June 25, 2013. It's a mockumentary of life in seventh grade. Oh, the awkwardness. This year I also plan to finish my follow-up to DITCHED. It's titled BUSTED and is about a girl who takes a job running errands for an eccentric couple and finds herself involved in the crazy world of LA nightlife. But after a misunderstanding lands her in jail, she has one fateful night to clear her name, help a rising movie starlet avoid the paparazzi and find Adam, the coworker who is quickly stealing her heart. Emily Hainsworth (THROUGH TO YOU, Balzer + Bray)
What's next?  "My follow up stand alone novel NEVER IS A PROMISE comes out winter 2014, also with Balzer+Bray. It's a story about a girl who falls asleep at fifteen and wakes up at sixteen with everything she's ever wanted, except her life has fallen to pieces. If she doesn't figure out where everything started to go wrong, things will get much, much worse..."

Tiffany Strelitz Haber (THE MONSTER WHO LOST HIS MEAN, Henry Holt)
What's next? My next picture book OLLIE AND CLAIRE (Philomel/Penguin) will be out April 17th, 2013. It's sort of a play on a certain Rupert Holmes song from the 80s.... It's also a quirky, doggy friendship story with a twist."

What's next? "I'm working on another stand alone YA novel that will likely (hopefully) be out in Spring or Summer of 2014. It involves, among other things: a wunderkind author; the making of a controversial indie film; the (infamously) unfinished Truman Capote novel ANSWERED PRAYERS; and celesbians. Please stay tuned, dear reader."

Lizzie K. Foley (REMARKABLE, Dial)
What's next? "My next stand alone novel, tentatively called "The Unnecessaries," will come out from Dial in 2014. It's a story about a home for unloved children--and it involves a mouldering mansion, a swamp, a long lost treasure, a missing circus, and a very grumpy ghost."

Gina Rosati (AURACLE, Roaring Book Press)
What's next? "I'm working on a historical/fantasy/speculative/sci-fi/romance - I've been doing a ton of research for this, so it will be a while before there's any news to share. Also, there's no sequel planned for Auracle, but I'll write a few short stories featuring Anna, Rei, Seth and Callie, and post them on my blog in 2013. I'll link to them from Twitter when they're ready."

McCormick Templeman (THE LITTLE WOODS, Schwartz and Wade)
What's next? "Next up is THE GLASS CASKET, a twisted re-telling of Snow White in the tradition of a classic Grimm's fairy tale. It comes out Spring 2014 from Delacorte."

Jenny Torres Sanchez (THE DOWNSIDE OF BEING CHARLIE, Running Press Kids)
What's next? "My second YA novel DEATH, DICKINSON, AND THE DEMENTED LIFE OF FRENCHIE GARCIA comes out Spring 2013, also with Running Press. What's next? "The next book in the ARTICLE 5 trilogy, BREAKING POINT, comes out on February 12, 2013. Rumors are flying about the sniper’s true identity and Ember and Chase welcome the diversion, until the government posts its most-wanted list, and their number one suspect is Ember herself."

Huntley Fitzpatrick (MY LIFE NEXT DOOR, Dial)
What's next? "My follow up stand alone, also to be published by Penguin-DFYA in Spring, 2014, is set in the same town as MY LIFE NEXT DOOR, but with a completely different cast of characters. 17-year-old Gwen Castle's Biggest Mistake Ever, Cassidy Somers, is slumming it as a yard boy on her Nantucket-esque island this summer. He's a rich kid from across the bridge in Stony Bay, and she hails from a family of fishermen and housecleaners who keep the island's summer people happy. Gwen worries a life of cleaning houses will be her fate too, but just when it looks like she'll never escape her past—or the island—Gwen's dad gives her a tip: her wealthy, elderly employer is redoing her will this summer, and that could be Gwen's ticket to the good life. But what will it mean for Gwen’s now life? Sparks fly and secret histories unspool as Gwen spends a gorgeous, restless summer struggling to resolve what she thought was true—about the place she lives, the people she loves, and even herself—with what really is."

What's next?  "HYSTERIA, my next YA stand-alone psychological thriller, will be published by Walker/Bloomsbury in February, 2013. It's about a girl who can't be charged for a killing she does commit, who is then framed for one she doesn't commit. Also, she's being haunted--or stalked--by something that may or may not be real."

J. A. Souders (RENEGADE, Tor Teen)
What's next?  "The sequel to RENEGADE (untitled as if now), also with Tor Teen, comes out Fall 2013."

Kassy Tayler (ASHES OF TWILIGHT, St. Martin's Press)
What's next?  "Shadows Of Glass 2 book in series July 23 2013."

Leanna Renee Hieber (DARKER STILL, Sourcebooks Fire)
What's next?  "Leanna Renee Hieber returns to her adult historical fantasy roots as she releases several short stories into anthologies, the foremost of which is "Charged", featured in QUEEN VICTORIA'S BOOK OF SPELLS (March 2013, Tor/Macmillan). The story features a character from her upcoming gaslamp fantasy saga THE ETERNA FILES, (Tor, 2014). She will also soon have word on the re-release of her Strangely Beautiful saga."

Tom Ryan (WAY TO GO, Orca Book Publishers)
What's next?  "My follow up is TAG ALONG, a stand alone contemporary and will be released by Orca in September, 2013: Andrea, Paul, Candace, and Roemi aren't friends - they barely even know each other - but they do have one thing in common : it's prom night, and for very different reasons, none of them is at the big event. Over the course of one crazy night, paths are crossed, plans are changed, messages are mixed, and things definitely do not end the way they began."

L. B. Schulman (LEAGUE OF STRAYS, Abrams)
What's next?  "I am working on a very complex contemporary young adult book right now and am almost done. My guess is it will be ready to be submitted to publishers in about four months. I am really proud of this one and can't wait to bring it into the world."

Trish Doller (SOMETHING LIKE NORMAL, Bloomsbury)
What's next? "My next book is WHERE THE STARS STILL SHINE, another YA contemporary stand-alone that will be published by Bloomsbury in October, 2013: Stolen as a child from her large and loving family, and on the run with her mom for more than ten years, Callie has only the barest idea of what normal life might be like. She's never had a home, never gone to school, and has gotten most of her meals from laundromat vending machines. Her dreams are haunted by memories she’d like to forget completely. But when Callie’s mom is finally arrested for kidnapping her, and Callie’s real dad whisks her back to what would have been her life, in a small town in Florida, Callie must find a way to leave the past behind. She must learn to be part of a family. And she must figure out how to keep real love when it won’t let her go."
